Ok yesterday and today i have seen my senegalus regurgitate his food. I thought it was because on friday i switched to massaviore delights but today i gave him his regular food and he did the same thing. None of my other bichirs are doing this. He is also getting agressive he has been picking at my electric yellow cichlid which use to pick on him(how things change). all my reading are good and none of my other fish seem to be having a problem. I clean my tank every week 30% water change and all. He is about 6 1/2 inchs and he is getting big fast and i dunno what to do.

ive had ropes do it idk y and they're r fine idt my sen ever got it all the way down when he did i think my sen iz jus playn wit the food

yea as long as he is eating something and not starving he should be fine.

I see mine grab food chew it and seem to spit more out than they get in. Is this what you mean? If this is what you are seeing, it is normal. As long as your fish is not losing weight he should be ok.

I have seen mine do that but that is not what i am talking about. He will eat the food and then 1-2hr later he will spit it up, wait awhile then eat it again. I didnt feed him his second serving of food yesterday and feed him this morning broke the pieces even smaller he seems to be holding it down now. We will see tho

Try cutting back on feedings for a week or two. Make sure he's hungry when he eats.

What kind of substrate do you have? He could have a blockage, those symptoms are similar to what it would go through if it had a blockage, either from food compaction or swallowing gravel. If it's food compaction starve him a couple of days, maybe feed him a pea or an algae chip if he'll eat it, and it should clear up. If he swallowed gravel though, he's 99% certain to be toast.

Good, that rules out swallowing a hunk of gravel. Sand, they can pass if they swallow.
