one of my senegalus is getting to agressive.today he just beat to death one of my full grown angels. is about 16cm longis trying is chance in every fish in the tank. attack the palmas and even try the parachanna but those are over 25cm so no trouble, is this normal.is grow have been very good and is very active a smaller senegalus that came at same size also take some beating , but be able to kill the angel

While not ''normal'' its not unheard of.I think anyone whos kept bichirs for any length of time will tell you a horror story or 2 of having a cranky bichir.As fish mature many will change in their temperment
As for taking out an angelfish its entirely possible.Remember a bichir has only a cpl of vulneable spots and is encased in pretty much body armor while an angel is fairly unproteced-Anne

thats the truth because my beutt wich is 10" will hide all day but when he comes out he sometimes attacks my ornates.
