Wondering if anyone has had any experience with oscars and if they have noticed that they mark extremely easy. I have a 4" tigerr Oscar that constantly has marks are scars from running into things or getting into fights. Which leads him to look like he has been through a blender. No other fish I have kept have ever been is sensitive to scaring. Wondering if it's just me or if something may be wrong with him.

I'm pretty sure it not just you. When my Oscar was in a smaller tank he was getting cuts and gashes all over all the time. He still does in his 450g tank now but not nearly as often. Sometimes at night he gets spooked and run into something or he has a short scuffle with some of the larger tank mates resulting in said gashes. I've noticed that my Oscar like to lash out in fast bursts which would also make injury in smaller than pond habitat more likely.

Never noticed that with mine. If you have sharp objects in the tank and fish that are fighting, cuts make sense. In the long run, that isn't good.
