I really like the sensation of staring into bright light. The way it tickles the back of my eyes and they start watering. It's very relieving. I used to stare at the sun all the time without consequence but apparently now that I'm older it leaves small scars so I've given up naked-eye exposure and settle for what I get through the windshield of my car. It's sort of like instant nirvana. Sensory overload, they call it. Oh, I also like roaring sounds that make the bones in my inner ear rattle. I know it's too much, but it tickles and feels so good. For some reason it's really easy to shut down the defenses like blinking and covering the ears in favor of the sensation. So what kind of sensory overloads do you enjoy? Tactile? Thermal?
