With the death of my fav earth-eater, I moved some fish around.
I separated the mbuna and the deeper water fish. The two sides both seem to like it, and I am able to feed them their own diet. so far I love it, I got more lively fish action in the bedroom and it gives me more space in my 125g to buy more peacocks!

the tanks look good. you should consider adding sand to the other tank. your fish will like it

Yes, all my new tanks have the crushed quartz pool filter sand. I like it a lot. I just have not wanted to tackle changing over the 125g ....yet.

Nice mbuna.

Have not posted in while. Fish are growing, no new fish (except pic number 1) and other than many batches of homegrown fry in growout tanks. I have been lurking and hope to spending more time posting. -Mark.

Everthing looks great, I do a have a question about your rocks...are they leaning up against the glass?

Thanks,

Looking good. I like the wood and rock combo.

I guess I had not thought that it was that big of a deal to have the slate pieces leaning against the glass. I figured that the real weight is on the bottom, and I have seen some crazy stuff that glass can handle. Maybe I should rethink leaning the rocks.
