i know this isnt the easiest question, i know it depends on individual personality of the fish and its kinda a trial and error bussiness anyway keeping a large semi aggresive cichlid community, but....... i have a very aggresive female severus seperated into my QT tank, she beat up pretty good on my new male Green sev. I want to know how long i should keep her in the qt before trying to add her back to see if it works this time. I was gonna wait a while, like a week or more, but, now that she is gone, the green is becoming the "boss" of the tank and i dont want him trying to kill her when she is reintroduced. so what do you think, should I add her back now (about four days isolated) or wait longer, opinions greatly appreciated.

I had a previously established pair of Angels (I know, different fish!) turn on each other after I moved them from a 110 to a 125. I separated them from about a month. Upon reintroduction, it appeared that the separation hadn't worked, but after a day or so, they settled down, and they've even spawned a few times since then.

wait for him to heal up all the way if he's smaller than her. then before you put her back do a 50% water change and move all of the decor around to break up previous territories

move the decor around and then put her back
