seperated pregnant female

Ok so i put up a divider in my 210 6x2x2.5, to separate my pregnant female from the male. Right now i have her in 1/3 of the tank and the rest of my fish on the other 2/3 of the tank.

Rays normally have there pups while swimming in the column of water. Now i'm afraid that she cannot because she is pretty big and only in a 2x2x2.5 area. WOuld you think it would stress her out? SHould i have separated the male away from everything instead of the female??

when it comes to a prego female always move the male

ditto on moving the male... just make sure that divider is sturdy because around a day or two b4 she is ready to pop, that male is gonna try to get through that divider...

i fond the male wont touch the female once she is preg

but will kill the pups... I do not want to risk it, last litter he was trying to kill the pups and i was there luckily.

i wounder if my females are pregnet then because he is constantly after females

they could be. it took my male a few months of beating my female, to finally get her prego. hopefully hes getting in some good practice...
