seperating preg female

how many of you guys seperate your female when she's about ready to pop
i have in the past but this time she won't let me she bust through the divider no matter what i do she really does'nt want to be in there
anyone have any insite

I have not seperated my rays to date and never had any problems. The male knows he cant breed with her until she pops so i think you should be fine. Ow yeah just remembered you had that problem with the male killing one of your pups. I would keep the male well fed when you think she is ready to pop just incase.

i would pull the male. I hear that if you pull they male. The female will hold the pups longer. As its not trying to push them out so they can breed right away again. Then the night the pups are born. Put the male back in. and they will go at it.
