So this is apparently the sera equivalent to the fx6. But supposed to be better. Uv light, adjustable flow, easy to maintain, better in regards to overflow plugging up. They seem to be a fit bit pricier than the fluval canisters though.

I am just wondering if anyone has heard of or even used these products on here. I’d like to know if the people selling are honest about he product. I don’t want to invest any more than what I would pay for an fx6 if it doesn’t live up to its name. Any honest feedback would be appreciated. Tyia

I know I've heard of it before... I'd say check reveiws online and do your research... looks a bit cheap made from appearance tho... plus I dont mess with internal ruv lights and heaters... pointless when it breaks or need to replace imho

Ya. I have had that same POV as well but I guess this light is only 40$ to replace when it burns out. Not sure how you know if it’s burnt out tho lol.

Just found an fx6 for 200 so I may grab that instead. Just wondering if anyone in holland has heard of it or used it.

I just want to bump this thread to see if anyone else has actually heard of this. Maybe someone on the other side of the world?

Have you heard of sera as a brand name?
The people I know around here are saying it is top notch. Even better than Eheim or fluval.

Yeah i have some stuff from sera. Some airpumps and small internalfilters. Sera is an old school brand. I use their thermometers in some tanks to. They have some quality granulates with color enhancers.

Good to know. I might go for this filter on the means that I have an opportunity to get it for much cheaper than an fx6. Some of the products I have used so far of theirs have been good.
