What is better a pond filter or a regular aquarium filter for a 200 gallon tank?

i had one on my 180 then i missed water changes...

so i got a 20gal now

I got one of those but it doesn't seem like its enough?? Mechanical filtration is the biggest problem.

So what filter is a good mechanical filter??? Rena x3? Marineland? Obviously Fluval x5 but do you think I need two?

do you have a filter pad on top of the bio balls?...it might help...i mean i get comments about how my water is crystal clear every time anyone sees my tank..even ppl who have seen it hella times b4.....i do a monthly water change as well

I'd go with 2 fluvals or one fluval and a rena or marineland

Yeah but lol it just seems like there is always poop everywhere.

or better yet get an over flow box and attach it to a canister fitting.. overflows are saposeto take in 6x more debris then pipeing
