Serious overhaul on the Beani tank.

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Pain hey! What size tank? I recently did that on my 70g. I replaced gravel for sand took out stuff cleaned out everything BUT.. I switched the tank around. bought the tank used one side was tinted and the other wasn't for some reason i thought the tinted side was better for viewing then i began to hate it and the color of the tank so i flipped it (did a 90% water change flipped before refilling of course) took about 2.5 hours

what made you opt for gravel? most people are doing the opposite. I know I recently switched to sand and I prefere it to gravel. I even prefere bare to gravel. but I guess maybe you were having issues with the filters taking in too much sand ?

@runitis it's a 160 gallon
Drift wood and now marble slabs.
Not sure if I'm sold on the marble though. I thought it would be cool to stack it for my pleco's but I dunno, we'll see i guess.

@rafini I've had sand in the tank for two years. Just got bored of it and I like the look of gravel better. I threw it all in my turtle tank. Looks way better in there
