okay well i had to go out of town for a couple of weeks and i have 2 Scombs in my tank and well they only eat live feeders i fed them heavily 1day befor the trip then i left its been about 2weeks without food and im gonna go back home in 4days are they dead?

I would say if you left quite a few in before you left (after they gorged themselves) they should be fine. I am not sure of the metabolism on the scombs., but as you know a lot fish can go a freekin month without food. How old are they?? Whats their size, and do you have anythign else int he tank with them?

two and a half weeks is a long time, they might not make it

well there about 4-5in last i saw them but they have 3peacock bass with them and thats it in a 160G grow out. i threw in about 100+ Feeders.

your odds arent great...but they might make it. 50-50ish imo

reason why i left in a hurry was my mother in law had a sudden rise in blood pressue and then they called the wife and it went on and on..... and nothings wrong with her shes better and now i have my fish to worry about thats the biggest BS ive ever seen but i didnt show it.

As long as your water stays clean they will be fine, 14 days is nothing IF they were healthy before you left.

I would worry about going two weeks without feed for 4-5" scombs. I understand most folks feed them daily at this size. They're delicate to start with.

yea well i originaly tryed to starve them onto krill/shrimp so i only fed them lie 1 every 3-4days.
