How are serpae tetras on aggression? Big fin nippers or generally peaceful? Any more peaceful large red tetras?

I had some with some Andinoacara Pulcher and didn't notice any fin nipping. Was only a couple weeks due to Acara died of unknown reason.

Sorry about the acara.
Good to hear that it worked while it did though. I was actually planning on them with an acara, some Amazon puffers, and a peacock eel. Just trying to see if they would attack anyone and debating whether they’d be too much strain on the bioload.

I will add my Bleeding Hearts have not nipped either being in with Nanolutae

If you are looking for a tall bodied Tetra.

ive had them a few times and havent had any issues with nipping, not even with angels as tankmates.
They do have a reputation for biting but I havent seen it, maybe its just one of those things that just gets repeated until everyone believes it.
They used to be my go to tetra for community tanks, now i prefer columbian tetras.
