I am definately not a huge p fan, but this has got to be one of the coolest looking fish out there. We have one at work and it looks like it is made out of polished titanium. Just a bad ass fish.

Newly discovered species of piranha. Information about this piranha not yet available publicly though on a scientific level. it has been identified and recognized. Known information from its habitat, it grows to around 6-8 inches. Resembles S.Rhombeus somewhat except for one remarkable difference and one not shared by any other piranha. It possesses an ultra violet purple line about 1 cm in width that runs from the bottom of its mouth continously over the top of its mouth, along the top of its back until it reaches its dorsal fin. only a picture of this fish will do justice in showing this most fascinating feature. It is fin-biter predominently but can take small goldfish whole. Because its a fin biter, it is not a good schooling fish and should be kept alone, though it is doing well living well with my other piranhas. Availabilty in past, none, in the future, already a good handful brought into North America recently. Next to the wimple piranha, this maybe the most unique and odd looking piranha available

That is not a new P. T.F.H. or which ever magazine has the "Top of the Food Chain" articles had an article on this fish a long time ago. I forget the sci name but they refered to it as the "Violet Line" P.
