  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Maybe a sanchezi.

As for aggressiveness... much of that depends on the individual fish.

what kind of Serrasalmus Species is the most agressive and how long could i keep it in a 29 gal before i have to upgrade?

N e species is fine and could/would work for a few months in a 29 gal-

Nothing is recommended for a 29 gal for life-IMO,Some will say there is-But thats negative....

Roughly can keep one in there until around the 4 to 5 inch mark....

you can go with Serrasalmus Irritan...it's one of the smallest piranha species out there you can keep in your 29gallon for a long time.

but suggest for 55gallon for life 75gallon even better.

A 29 gallon tank is not large enough to adequately maintain a school of any adult piranha species: you could maintain a single red-bellied (P. nattereri) indefinitely. However, if you are interested in watching a school in a feeding frenzy, you could get another characin species - Exodon paradoxus. They are very active, colorful, and live for 10+ years...

PIRANHAS ARE ILLEGAL IN CALI...!!!

yes they are illegal and being that this is a public forum and members are still solisiting keeping an illegal speices, this thread will be closed and possibly deleted. you can get into big trouble with these sorts of posts. i'll put it simply people do watch these forums trying to catch guys doing illegal activity's such as this...
