I looked up an old thread on Albino ARTC,someone had posted that a ARTC would have a set of 8 whiskers and certain cats that looked like Albino ARTC'S had a set of 6 whiskers.I am just wondering what those cats were, here is a pic of mine(as far as i can tell it only has 6 whiskers).....

idk, but watch him with those RTCs. he could snap bra.
I took your advice and put him in the big tank, about 2 minutes later the little orange cat is chasing a pictus cat twice his size!!And messing with my 10" Tiger shovelnose!! If this guy isnt a ARTC then what could he be???

So then the number of whiskers isnt a true way of telling a true ARTC(unless mine got a set ripped off)This is one little terror reminds me of a Dovii with its aggression. But he doesnt mess with Mr.Jardini.lol

My SA RTC only has 4 whiskers when they usually have 6.

So it's not out of the question for him to be missing a set.
Yeah i think that i say your cat in another thread, nice looking cat.Someone else said that it could be some kind of Pictus, but i have 1 in there with him and they do have a different body shape, the Pictus is a little more fuller looking while this cat has a more elongated build.Does this help??

My ARTC have 8 whiskers...

Your ARTC should have two small one, beside the nose...

2 short
2 long
2 short
2 short

total of 8 whiskers

No mine has 2-long,2-short and2-short.Just its level of aggression is astounding,he even tried a go at my 14" Jardini (mind you he is only 5")but quickly realized he stood no chance. And build wise he looks different than my Pictus the new cat is thinner and its body is more elongated,im wondeing if it is a hybred of some sort??
