"nice set up for the tokay, but the fish look to have the equivalent of a fish bowl of water."
the "land" is sitting on 3" pvc posts on a false bottom, the water is all of the bottom of the tank. the fish have access to the whole of the water.
there is also a waterfall so the water is not still.

interesting design, so the fish are in about 4.5 gallons of water. Do you have a filter?
I have set up similar for my daughters fire belly toads, used a 20g and a large turtle dock. It has about 11 gallons of water. It is functionable but looks nowhere nice as yours.
