chances are i will be getting a new 125 gallon tank. my question to you is what should i and what could i set this tank up with so that it looks good. im talking stock, decor, anything to make it look good. i have an idea on what i want to do to it as decor, but im a little curious as to what i can stock this tank with.

Any help is highly appreciated.

no help? im open to any suggestion. i need a little help with lighting and stuff like that as well. im still curious as to what fish i can put in a 125 that are to big for a 55 or a 75.

there small, but i was planning on putting my large oscar in there. but my two small ones are about 3"-4" but is there anything else i can put in the tank along with the oscar?

if you dont move the oscar and you are willing to set up slow and start small, electric blue jacks are awesome freshwater. they are quite fragile and expensive for a freshwater fish but they pay off with hours of viewing pleasure.

for the 125 or 75?

well after a long while of talking. we've come to the conclusion that i am getting the tank. a little help on my stock is highly anticipated as i want to stock it with proper fish that will liven up the tank. i know what im gunna do for decor. i just need some stock ideas. anyone have any advice for a novice big tank keeper?

Go ahead and move your oscars into the tank. They will need the room and 125 for 3 oscars still isn't enough.its better to move them now instead of waiting till they are bigger and your 125 is stocked.it will save you moving them later on.I know that's not what your wanna hear but it will be healthier for your fish in the long run.what size tank for a permanent home are you planning on for your 3 oscars?

well my large one's age is beginning to catch up with him. he's starting to feel a little worse as the weeks pass. but just as precaution i am looking for a 250 or 300 for them as pernament. but as for now i can't seem to find any

Well I case it takes awhile I'd still put them in your 125.they will grow faster and be healthier and will fight. Less because they have room to claim territories and if they haven't started fight yet trust me they in time
