Okay I am trying to figure out the best set up for my 125 gallon. I have right now is:
5" Red Devil
5" Freddy
4" 5 Spot Jewel

I want to know what MFK thinks of stock level for a 125 gallon how you Guys would Stock it. I want you to think it is your tank. It doesn't have to include the fish I named off but I want Aggressive fish I mean nasty that can get along

Umm... Mean/nasty fish don't usually get along.. So, do you want mean fish? Nasty fish? Fish that get along? Nasty fish are one per tank - regardless of the size, I think.. Mean fish are fish that eventually set a pecking order, but don't take kindly to newcomers, and sometimes get pissy with their own tankmates just for the hell of it.. (I have those).

(What is "Freddy"?)

BTW, fishes that get along as juvies may not get along as they get older...

I have a 120g (60x18x26) that houses a 10" Midas, 5 Silver Dollars around 5" each, a sailfin pleco at 8" and a few small recent additions of a Red Tiger Mota at 3" and 2 Vieja Fenestratus at 3". It has been a nightmare to find fish that "get along". The Midas is not the problem! He has no issues with smaller fish being added. All the others I have tried have issues. granted the tank is not huge but these are 3" fish I'm trying to get to accept each other. I recently got rid of a Jack Dempsey to help get peace in the tank and now I'm dealing with the RTM becoming a little monster.

Getting that right combo just depends on your fish.

buy fish that swim each level of the tank. Top swimmer, middle-low swimmer, and a bottom fish. I'll sell you the redtail cuda if ya want lol

I've got a 110 with a 5" Gulper and a 7" Red Texas, soon to put a 5" Red Oscar and maybe a few plecos later i think a 2-3 large cichlids and some bottom swimmers are perfect for our tanks footprint
