I got a used fluval 404 and was wondering whats the best way to setup the 4 trays in side the filter from the bottom up?? It's going on a 75 gal. with 2 oscars and 2 pleco 2 clowns. All help wecomed !!thanks chris

A lot of people will tell you to just fill it up with Bio. With the stock you currently have, they will eventually need to be upgraded when it comes to the tank. And they are all pretty messy fish that will reek havoc on the filter anyways. I would suggest filling the first 3 bottom trays with Biomax or any other type of Biological Media (I use Eheim Substrat Pro). And the top one with Ammonia Remover.
