Hi guys! I was in the store the other day saw a tank of green terrors and fell in love with them. They have such a nice color. Anyway I don't know anything about them. I only have enough room in my house to set up a 20 gal. Would it be big enough for a green terror? What do they eat and what kind of water do they like? Thanks!!!!!!!

It would be good for a while but eventually it will need like a 55. They get prett big. 10-12". Agreed though they are very sweet fish. BTW did u happen to see these at the pet supplies plus in toledo?

like chad said he will be ok for a while....but instead of a 55 i would recommend a 75g for the simple fact to give the fish more space to turn around since the 75g is 18" deep and the fish will get to 10"+

I second the following:

My friend has a GT and he keeps it by itself in a 60g and it's only 4" long. It's really pretty now and it will only get prettier.

Enjoy!

At least a 75g for the fact of 18inch's WIDE. A female green terror will not get much bigger than 8-9inchs however if you geta male green terror it can get up to 14inch's and a 75g will be only for it and maybe a pleco. I have Mine in a 125g with 2 gars , 2 bichir, and a pleco, and his gf.
