set up ideas???

i currently have a 20L, a 12g, and i just got a 10 gallon,

in the new 10g i have 1 large snail, 2 gouramies, and one eight banded somthing rather the first couple pics are going to be the new 10, then i will show you what my other set ups are- so itl go the new 10, 12g, 20L

mainly what i need is ideas about plants or hideouts...etc. for the 10 gallon only (the rocks in there are temporary so i need ideas or links or pics)


please help, this is the first time i couldent think of decor for a tank!

I think it would look cool with a big plant in the back corner, but thats just me.
BTW The fish in question is a six banded leporinus. Gets a foot long and agressive.

ya ive got some live plants in my other tank but the filter on my 10g is a peice of junk top fin 20g filter and it slows dramaticly every time theres a live plant and stuff in the tank so if im going to add somthing it is going to have to be fake

Your "eight-banded something" is a Black-banded/ Eight-banded Leporinus and they usually get to 20-30cm so I hope you have a new home for him in time as most sources suggest a 40 gall as minimum.
As for decor change, gouramis enjoy planted aquariums so take all three rocks up into the right hand corner to create a cave and have Echinodorus amazonicus behind the cave and on the left side Microsorum pteropus . Not too inventive but allows natural behaviour and a nice natural look and, most importantly swimming room.

ya i will but like i said abuve ^^ that my filter cant take live plants because of the junk that they give off but yes i do have a lrger tank on hold a at lfs for when my fish get bigger (already bought just dont need it yet) but ya i may put the rocks to one side like u said but they will have to be fake plants

That 10g looks good now that you've redone it. I would just add a black background and take the DVD+R out of the tank.

hahahaa, thanks ummmm... the limstone i have in the tank had been bioled for 5 hours to kill all bacteria but for somereason my tank is really really clowdy now and it has gotin deep in the filter and so what do i do or is limstone bad good or deas nothing to fish????, it is also in my 20L but it was never clowdy in there!
