Here is the 55 Gallon Convict Breeder tank i just set up in a day this past weekend.. the point was to have fry to raise and feed to my monsters. So here are a few pics of what i did... i have 2 females for now, and 3 males(1 of which is a runt) and i am purchasing another female as soon as they arrive in my LFS. SO i will be adding a few more caves for breeding shelters and refuge spots next w/e, and another piece of driftwood i will be collecting myself... i was wondering if any fish could survive the tank conditions with these convicts.. nothing Carniverous or Piscivorous(iif thats a word), but a simple plant eater, maybe Red hooks.. I prolly wont due to the risk, but should i add live or fake plants and if so which ones would be best? what other suggestions for this breeding project do u have for me?
