So Im putting my turtle tank outside and was wondering about the lights. Its on my back porch so they will be out of direct sunlight so should I still have a
UV bulb for them, and what about a heat lamp, I live in florida so it will be plenty warm but Im wondering if they prefer the added warmth from the light.

You will definitely need a uvb bulb.... i would think for the summer you should be alright without a heat light but in the winter you'll likely want one.
be sure that they are out of direct sunlight though as that can roast a class cage very quickly

I think they will be fine either way but it could not hurt to add a UVB in case.

Ok thanks guys, I already have the lights as it was an indoor tank but Im moving it to the back porch and was just wondering what was necessary, Ill probably go without the heat lamp cause it gets plenty hot back there, upper 90s
