Hello everybody!
I'm new to the forum and would like to ask a question. I'm setting up a 180 gallon freshwater with 65 gallon sump and was wondering if I can use standard fluorescent bulbs or if T5's or T8's are necessary if I'm going to have live plants in the tank. I'm going to be transferring my south American cichlids, pacu, eels, etc into this new tank after it's cycled. Also I would like to have rays and other amazon species as well. I will be building a fixture to hang above the tank out of stainless steel. So just wondering what lighting you recommend. I would love to use LED,s but they are to expensive! You know. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Keep in mind I was also thinking of getting some specie of aquatic turtle as well.
Thanks:WHOA:
