Setting up 90 gallon with 29 gallon sump. I transferred some media ( filter pads) from 46 gallon, and some seeded bio balls from 46 gallon and some decorations. Should I add pure ammonia measured to see where I am at for a few days. Will I be getting a true reading with my testing without it? I have HOB on 46 gallon and cannot transfer the entire filter with bio wheels as it does not fit with the canapy.
Water is in dechloirnated and some media transferred and up and running 24 hours.
