I go to pick up my new 130g in a couple hours which i found on craigslist for only about $150. I just have a few questions and stuff, I will be updating the thread as my progress continues...
Anyways, I first have a few questions about filtration. I have an empty 55g which I thought I could use as a sump. Right now I'm still wondering how to set this up, can anyone link me too some sump designs or something? Also- should I drill an overflow in the tank or use an intake pump.
Substrate, I was thinking tile but this may depend on the type of setup I choose.
As for stocking, I had a couple of ideas in mind. I was thinking a tile bottom tank with a red tail payara, a few frontosa and a lei (until/if it outgrows the tank). I also considered a FOWLR tank with some different fish, including some angels, triggers, etc. Still not sure what road to go down...
