I currently have about 30 lbs of live rock in it and this is what I think I'll stock it with:
1 valentini puffer- I must have one lol
1 clown
2 cardinals
maybe a diamond watchman goby

inverts:
1 pin cushion urchin
1 sand sifting star
maybe a cleaner shrimp
numerous soft corals such as lps and stuff.

Will this work?

The puffer will eventually eat the invertebrates, so don't get anything that you're afraid of losing.

Also, you're going to be very overstocked with those fishes, so pare down the list to two, maybe three, fishes; since you're set on the puffer, I would just get the goby & maybe a blenny as they'll inhabit different areas than the puffer thereby (hopefully) reducing any aggression issues.

Puffer 2 clowns and a Blenny would be fine. I know a kid I've helped in salt water and he has that exact setup. Just add the puffer last. Buy a skimmer rated for over 2 times the tank volume their messy eater. Val puffers are pretty docile. I had one in my reef ad my brother In law had one they both were model citizens. Mine ended up liking Sps polyps so he had to go. He's the one in the 29g.

I guess I'll ditch the cardinals then, I also ordered a 55-64 gallon skimmer on amazon, once that brakes in I'll get the clown and let him hang for awhile. Thanks!
