Setting up a 92 Corner Tank

Howdy guys! Years back I had an Oscar and used to read your forums here, but never posted. Well I'm setting up a new tank, and I have some questions so it's time to post!

I'm getting my bother's old 92 corner tank because he's moving and wont have room for it in the new place.

My question is about stocking. The ideal list I came up with would be this: one Jack Dempsey, one Green Terror, three Silver Dollars and one Pictus Cat. Is this ok do you think? I'm a novice, 100% so please let me know how that sounds...I'm really unsure.

Im not thay experienced my self so wait for the more experienced members but they will probably need to know what the dimensions of the tank are as well as what filtration your planning on using. Also keep in mind you will have to cycle your tank. Read up on the nitrogen cycle, faithless cycling, and fish in cycling.

Plug in your tank, filter and fish and it gives you some ideas on stocking. The only real issue with your corner tank is there really is no swimming room even though it has a good capacity. The stock you mentioned would not be bad because they are not huge fish.

Pictus cats can be tricky. As juviniles they prefer groups of 5-6 or more, just one juvi would seriously stress it out, then once they are adults they prefer to be kept in smaller groups or solo. There is no way to raise them in the ideal density they need for their entire life with your setup so I'd say get a trio and see how things go. I'll be happy to help you with any catfish needs or questions you have

Ok well, aqadvisor tells me that that one terror, one JD, five silver dollars and three pictus cats will put me at 99%, so I guess that's not bad. The only reason I added two silver dollars is that it flashed a warning saying that they should be kept in groups of five, so /shrug. According to aqueon's website the dimensions of the 92 corner are[TABLE="class: product_table, width: 747"]
