Hey there. I live in Northern Arizona and was hoping to get some hints and tips as for tank size, things to go in the tank, how to get these things, and any additional things i need.
Thanks

well what are you planning to put in?And if you have a tank, what size is it?Native fish need cover.Rocks, driftwood, and plants can provide secuity.Sand can be a fine substrate if you want it to look natural, otherwise you can add gravel(never kept natives in bare bottom).A strong filteration system especially! Many larger native species produce tons of waste.Certainly canister filters,And I wouldn't try any other filter type, except for pond filters.Depending on what species you choose, however, will effect your tank size.

Im curious as to why you said to never keep natives in a bare bottom.

You can get a 40-55gallon setup pretty cheap and easy for a few natives. Bigger is always better. I had a 450gallon but the aquarium failed on me. I'm in the process of setting up a 360gallon now.
