Hey everyone! Today i was pretty much offered the deal of my life on a 75gal aquarium. The only problem is that its already drilled for a sump and it has the whole sump guard thing or whatever in it. Now, I know absolutely nothing about plumbing a sump or how to set it up or anything and Its really my first time getting into aquariums, only ever kept a ten gallon up til this point. How would I go about setting this up? What materials do I need and approximately how much do you think it would cost to get a sump going? The tank will be for my growing ornate bichirs if I decide to pick it up if i can manage this project. thanks in advance everyone!

Might be easier for you to plug it and buy a canister or a hob for now. Lot of work and maintenance for a Your first tank. I.M.O. ac 110 works great and are very reasonable priced.

This but instead of plugging the bulkheads use them for the canister. I already mentioned this in your other thread but just thought I'd say it here.
