Hello MF keepers. I witnessed two of my motoros breeding on Mar 1st. I’ve read the sticky on ray pups and if I were to get a pup or pups carried to term, I want to move them to their own tank. The tank that I plan on moving them to is a 125 gallon run by two large sponge filters and has a lot of substrate. I’m going to take it all out.
How can I take any extra precautions in cleaning the tank to make sure the pups aren’t at risk for a possible infection from any of the previous tank inhabitants? Is it something I need to be worried about? This is the would be mother.
