I am very interested in this BGK and wanted to setup an amazon biotope around the BGK.
I was thinking of a 5'X2'X2' tank with a BGK, about 6 angels and a school of black widow tetras.
Today I saw the Elephant nose fish and I would like to have him too (if possible). Looks like the ph of water is compatible. But they are from Africa if I'm not mistaken. Would that spoil the whole "Amazon biotope" thing?
Also if I add 3-4 elephant nose fish to the above mentioned stock list would that be too much?

Thanks in advance for all the responses.

no, it would'nt be a biotope. for a true biotope all fish must be from the same region and not only from the same country. the plants must also be from the same lake or river. my wild discus tank is considered a biotope by most people, but because lemon tetras are not found in the same waters as discus it's not really a biotope.
