I bought an Exo terra cage not sure if im going to use it yet though..

I also have 3 spare 10 gallons.. (yes I know they like tall cages)

What should be Placed in the tank I have fine climbing rope by exo terra and some fake plants by another company..

water dish and CGD bowl right...

More input please!

What are the dimensions of the cage? And what are you planning for substrate?

regular 10 gallon foot print.. or its the 18x18x18 exo terra i can check to make sure thats it. I want input on substrate and such please :headbang2 Which is the best? and why is it the best? and what does everyone use?

^I agree, here ya go,and I know I had to toss in a pic of my little guy also. This was months ago,he is much bigger now,eco earth substrate all the way, bowl for cgd, bowl for water just in case, vines, plants, toss dusted crix in 2 times a week or so,mist the cage daily, easy, enjoy, always watch the tail, its easy to get it caught between your fingers or the lid or door.9876.JPG

great looking gecko.. so eco earth ill take a look.. ( i hear from everyone cypress mulch is this similar?)

If anyone has anymore setup pics it would be greatly appriciated.

Thank you jason!

Matt~

Use the eco earth, you can hack off what you want or put the entire brick in a bucket of water,it expands like crazy, ring it out so its not dripping wet and toss it in.The mulch is bigger chunks and slivers,Im not sure how a cresty would like to mistake a piece for food while chasing crix.I would stick with the bricks of eco.a1.jpg

I dont have experience with the mulch but it just seems a bit riskier to me as far as eating it but you might ask others.

i use the mulch for my gargoyle (exact same requirements as a crested) and it works well for holding humidity and giving it a great look. But then again i always fed my garg CGD and he would never go for crix so impaction was never really an issue...
