So after a long struggle of what to fill my 220 with (oscars, umbee, frontosa, turtle, tortoise...) I think we are going with a michigan native tank. I checked the laws and yes it's legal if the fish is in season so I'm just going to stay away from bass because come December I can't have them and it's illegal to reintroduce the fish so I'd be breaking the law either way. Anyway kids and I are going fishing to a small pond tomorrow where I know there are bullheads, sunfish, bluegill I think perch I doubt it but hey and I know bass

So anyway here's the question do you think if I put the fish we catch in a cooler with a bubbler they would be ok for a couple hours till I get them home? Should I go buy some stress coat slim stuff?

I'll have to get some, idk what type of fish to go "after" or I should just leave it to fate and stock as I catch I'm hoping to catch 2-4 smaller fish I want a small bullhead caught one last year at this time 4 inches long

I've shipped nativesfor 32 hours and they all made it just fine. Just change 100% of the water before you leave add the bubler and you'll have no problem

I'm a huge native fish fan. Its really up to you Oscars are cool as well
