Sweet i liked how u stacked the stone so it wieghted the elongated pieces that stick out, very genious! Also is that a florecent lite cover for the sump grate?

Awesome diy!

Yea all our tanks have a fluorescent light underneath do its easier to see what u r doing down there. Plus I'm gonna put a timer on it for the plants WinWin!!! I hand cut all those pieces of rock and glued them to the glass w aquarium silicone and let it cure for 3 days before adding water I wanted a custom natural look that didn't take up any tank space and was to cheap to buy a background. The whole project of rocks including the stone to put in the bottom cost me $40!!!! The tank is running w 30 goldfish and some minnows right now to cycle it but when it's ready will be home to my Peacock Bass which is why I didnt want to take ANY tank space away. I have a pretty good size of driftwood I the middle we scavenged from the creek bottom at the deerlease it's a beauty. I would post pics but the water is cycling and cloudy
