Ok now im really excited, I got my 125 (72x18x22) drilled with an overflow and a 1.5" hole in the back. I have a 29 gallon to set up as a sump tank. The pet store is a really cool store (Pruess Pets). But I really would like to run some stuff through you guys before i make a mistake. They had me buy a pondmaster 1200 GPH pump, and a filter sock for mechanical filtration. Is this the correct size pump? If it puts out 1200 gph thats half my tank every minute? that seems a bit much???

-As far as making my own sump they recommended me to purchase a garbage can and puncture holes in the bottom and through a bunch of bio balls in the bottom. This biological filter could be run through a bleed off the main pump line. How does this setup sound guys??

thanks

I'm not real sure, but since I'm a very frequent visitor of Preuss Pets, I'm sure they gave you fairly reliable information. They're really good, and extremely knowledgable.
