Gonna be setting up a new 135 gallon Geophagus tank along with some plants. I have got some question maybe you guys can help out with.

Gonna go with Led for lights either Beamswork or Marineland witch do you guys perfer?

Plants will be Amazon sword, Rose Sword maybe some java moss what do you think?

thinking of going with geophagus altifrons----geophagus surinamensis---------maybe Geophagus jurupari

any help tips would work along if you guys have some pictures to show

oh and there's gonna be lots of driftwood.

kind of a late answer but oh well. what are you using as substrate? I have some red head Tapajos and they push dirt like crazy and the altifrons I imagine will push even more, you might have your plants floating around a lot. i'm actually in the process of planning a new tank as well for them and my plan is to put substrate for the plants in these little dish/Tupperware containers I got at the dollar store and plant in that. then to keep them there I'm going to place river rocks on top and around as naturally as possible and hopefully that will keep them in one place.
