Settling down my mono p.bass

G'day all,

I have 3 x 15cm monos in a decent size tank with loaches, catfish and a couple of flag tails. I recently took out the barramundi as it was getting to big and I feared it would eat another one of my bass. Now they have always been flighty fish but since I took the barra out they haven't settled in the slightest. Is this normal for young bass and will they grow out of it?
What can I do to help them settle?

How long ago did you take the other fish out?
Sometimes it takes them a little while to get used to the change but usually just a couple of days.

give it time to adjust to the change. mine is finicky after water changes.

Seems perfectly normal, they will settle down, give it a little time.

I am also keeping 3 Monos, although they are around 25cm now. Getting more confident and settled as they grow, for sure.

Beauty, thanks everyone. Yea they are still fairly flighty, I just hope they get better as they get older.
