So I've been looking at cleaning solids.
My 500 has 3 1.5" overflow pipes. Going into the sump presently.
I'm considering adding a cut down plastic barrel.
Have 3 inputs come in. Near bottom. Then 90 to create a "vortex".
Then install overflows in the barrel to sump.
At bottom middle of barrel. Install bulkhead for a drain valve.
In my head. The water.should spin. And slow down enough. That most debris should settle.
Then drain the barrel once in a while.
Has anyone tried this?
