I got a 75 gallon marineland cornerflo back in October for an early Christmas present. I'm just finally getting an opportunity to work on setting it up.

The overflow says it's rated for 700 gph. What would anyone recommend for a good pump?

I have a 29 gallon aquarium I'm going to use for a sump. I have a couple other aquariums running sumps that are the simple filter sock, submerged media, and return pump design with no baffles. This one I want to have a filter sock, then a divider the water overflows onto a drip tray with bioballs, then baffle and then return pump. Anyone have a good example of that or any suggestions on the setup?

I had been planning on adding a canister for supplemental filtration. I have a few aquaclear 110s and checked 2 of them would fit on the tank. Do you think I should use the 2 aquaclear 110s along with the sump? I could get a canister. I was just thinking that the 110s are great at mechanical filtration and the sump should be more than enough bio. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

2 ac110's would be plenty...

Thanks. Do you think they would cause too much flow, since it's a drilled tank that'll have the sump as well? I suppose it probably wouldn't, because I have a 55 gallon with a sump that has a quiet one 2200 return pump, an eheim 2213, a koralia nano 425 gph, and a aquaclear 70 and all the fish seem to be not bothered by the flow.

No problem with the flow. I agree the ACs will be plenty.

My Mag 7's are rated for 700 and have worked great for years, but I'm no expert on that.

You'll already have plenty of bio filtration, no need to make the sump overly complicated unless you're looking for the challenge.
