Hey so i've always had swim only tanks. sharks eels rays etc. I want to convert my 340 gallon into a reef (130Lx24Hx24W) and i need lighting help. On my swim tanks i use LED's. What amount of LED's should i use or would yall deffinetely go MH's for a reef? and if so what wattage (400w?), how high should i hang them above the water, and how far apart/many? Thanks for the help guys.

Is this a double post?

I told you on your other one that I would use 3-4x of 400w MH...and you should be able to grow whatever the heck you want with that.

I would use the 400w just because of depth and width, get some better penetration.
