Footprint: 8'x30"x2' complete with glass tops
Lighting: 2 48" flourescent bulbs (bought at Home Depot) suspended approx 8 inches above top of tank
Filtration: 2 Modified FX5s (from a post on MFK)
Substrate: None (I'm assuming this would be easiest for a beginner ray keeper?)
Temperature: 76-78*F
pH: 6.2

Tank is almost done cycling...I hope, it's been filled and runnig for about 2 weeks.

In terms of acclimating the rays, I'm planning on using a drip system, just like what I use for my SW...but would it be best to introduce rays in groups or one at a time?

how are you getting the rays and what kind.... i would probably just dump them in.... put them in in any order you wish... ive added 3 rays to a tank with 3 allready in it.... it doesnt really matter unless itss a fresh import thats really skinny then it should be seperate....

Rays will be purchased through a local wholesaler (well I get wholesale prices anyways) I think I'll start with motoros (chainlink) and progress from there

perfect starter ray....

can't wait to see the whole system up and running. gool luck.

update??

rays will be coming in within the next few weeks. So far I've bought three. A male black spot motoro (approx 5 inch disk) and a pair of leos.
