This severum was caught in a lake just off from the main RIO MIRIM in Peru

Looks like H. appendiculatus to me but I'm not expert

I'd say it's Heros appendiculatus, the turquoise severum. They were originally found in Peru. Depending on the literature you read, they may simply be called H. efasciatus (some people consider H. appendiculatus a synonym of H. efasciatus).

Whatever it is, it's a really beautiful fish.
