Here are some pics of peacock bass I've caught in different places (Brazil, Panama, Puerto Rico). There are no two I've seen that look exactly alike which is why I love them. If you are interested in how to fish for them, you can check out www.howtocatchanyfish.com

On the aquarium front, I've got 5 monos and 1 azul that I'm trying to grow out right now at home. Still trying to get them to eat pellets. Right now I've got them eating chunks of earthworm stuffed with pellets so it's a start.

Some nice ones there, do you have any favorite methods?

My favorite method is topwater lures since it is awesome watching these things blow up on them, but in terms of effectiveness not much beats a bucktail jig in the Amazon. The three biggest ones above were all caught on jigs. You also get a lot of other interesting species on the jigs such as arowana, pike cichlids, etc.

Nice catches there.
