I'm trying to grow out feeder comets to add to the clean up crew in my oscar tank. I have the feeders in a 20g wide in room temp water. I noticed a few spots of ick 2 weeks ago. Now the problem is right out of hand. I was worried about raising the water temp and doing a salt treatment with feeder comets because there cold water fish and overall not the hardiest. Should I do the treatment as I normally would, raise the water temp to 84ish, add salt slowly over a period of time up to 2 teaspoons per gallon. Or will this kill them?

I would just use a formalin/malachite green mix. Available under the name "Quick Cure," in a small plastic bottle with green liquid at most LFSs.
