hey guys, came home from a day with the family yesterday to a badly beaten fish. ok here goes 1 male, 1 female red tiger mota. 20 gal. tank (male is 3 in. female about 2 in.) tank is divided because he is murderous. lately he has been jumping up and out of the water to clear the divider to get to the other side. she has a small hole to go back and forth to avoid him. well i came home last night and both were on his side. she is not good at all, missing most of her scales, cant swim, and a swollen abdomen. did emergency water changes, added salt, raised the temp, and treating with melafix. is there anything else i can do? she does have good gill movement but thats about it. thank you in advance

if it looks like all she needs is time... wait and hope..

if you dont think shes gunna make it... stick her in the freezer

from what i know to do youve done all you can except for entending the divider so he cant get over it (silicone, a few dvd cases and a razorblade work in a pinch)
