Hello all, on Monday I set up a 75 gallon aquarium. On Thursday, I put in some gravel from my 30 tall to get some bacteria in it. Friday, I added 32 ounces of fritz-zyme. Yesterday, I added the first fish (yes I am fish cycling, but changing water daily so don't complain). The fish i added were:
6 giant danios
1 rainbow shark

Now the center-piece of a sort of my tank once cycled I am planning to be a green severum.
I know severums are OK with the fish I have now but, what are another 3 or 4 other good SA or CA cichlids to put with it that won't bug the danios or shark.
I also know that keyholes, angels, festivums, convicts, firemouth are good but what are some other semi-large ones (8-12in.) that would be alright with it. Would have loved to do a green terror but I know it would kill the danios.

I do like the look of a nice blue acara :). Anything else that could work? Also I think I know the answer but either a firemouth or convict but not both would work with a severum right?

I don't see why you couldn't have both

I thought I saw somewhere that a convict would kill a firemouth because it is more bite where as firemouth are more bark.

I have 2 convicts and 2 firemouths among other cichlids in my tank, and they are fine. Same as all cichlid tanks though, you still can have a fight here and there

OK that's good. Now how about bottom feeders. I already have a striped Raphael catfish and a Gibbiceps pleco in my 30 tall that will need to go in the 75 (I know the pleco will get to big but I am getting a 120 or 155 in my basement in a year or two and they are slow growers) but what are some other good bottom feeders such as types of pimelodids or synodontis?
