Are killifish, especially Nothobranchius rachovii, decent tankmates with several gold severum? Or would killifish just become a snack for adult severum?

Those killifish will be gone in no time! Plus killifish have totally differant requirements. The warmer water required by the severum will not be tolerated by the killies, they will suffer! Not too mention the differant feeding requirements of the two. Killies are not community fish!

Nothobranchius rachovii are an annual killiefish having a lifespan of 9 to possibly 15 months. They make a good community fish with smaller species. Depending upon the tank setup and the size of your severums, they may or may not eat them.

Well, truth be told right now my severums are barely bigger than a quarter, excluding fins. Am just thinking long term here of what may happen when the sevs get bigger. Get all the info I can before I start dedicating tanks to breeding white worms in order to feed rachovii and another side tank for breeding. I figure I can get away with a temp of 79-80 and pH of 6.5.

Actual fish temperment though of rachovii with severum is just what I don't know much of.

Not sure about killifish water params, but aggression-wise I think it will be ok. I've got a nasty sev in a 75 with cories, harlequin rasboras and a couple HRPs. The only thing he doesn't tolerate is other large cichlids - he pays no attention to the little guys.
