Hi everyone. My green severums have laid eggs before but they and other fish have always ate them before anything happened. This last time they laid eggs on the side of the tank and next time i looked there was a bunch of babies clinging to the side of my tank. They are started to float down to the bottom and mom and dad eat them everytime they see one swimming. I blocked them off and now mom and dad are going nuts slamming into the barrier. I have no idea what to do with them. Should I remove them? What do I feed them? What are the chances they will live if I remove them? I have never had baby fish before.

Well, some cichlids need a few trys to get it right. They might eat they're fry the first, second, and sometimes even the third time they have babies. They'll get the hang of it eventually.
